Pick-Up & Delivery Driver (Lawn Equipment)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Pick-Up & Delivery Driver to transport lawn mowers and outdoor power equipment to and from customer locations. The ideal candidate will have experience towing trailers, loading and unloading equipment, and securing machinery safely for transport. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver lawn mowers, zero-turn mowers, tractors, and other outdoor power equipment to customer locations.
- Safely operate a company truck and trailer in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload equipment using ramps and proper lifting techniques.
- Secure equipment using straps, chains, and tie-downs to ensure safe transport.
- Verify equipment condition upon pickup and delivery and document any damage.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during all interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience towing and maneuvering trailers required.
- Knowledge of proper load securement and equipment transportation practices.
- Ability to safely operate loading ramps and secure heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Mechanical knowledge of lawn and outdoor power equipment is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience transporting commercial lawn equipment.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and trailer safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for identifying equipment issues.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and securing of equipment.
- Standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the workday.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
