Overview
American Paint Recyclers is seeking a hands-on, dependable Floor Manager to oversee daily production operations in our paint recycling facility. The company currently operates with approximately 23 employees and is actively expanding second-shift production. This role will play a key part in supporting growth, improving workflow, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside the team while also providing strong leadership, structure, and accountability across both shifts.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production employees
- Oversee daily production flow, scheduling, and workflow priorities
- Support expansion and development
- Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed
- Train, coach, and support team members
- Monitor inventory, materials, and production supplies
- Assign tasks and monitor workflow to meet production goals and deadlines
- Communicate with management regarding production performance and issues
- Conduct shift inspections and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Troubleshoot minor equipment or operational issues and escalate major concerns
- Complete production reports and shift logs
- Participate in weekly and monthly operations meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior supervisory or production leadership experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work hands-on
- Ability to operate forklifts or industrial equipment preferred
- Ability to manage multiple employees and shift coordination
- Basic understanding of production processes and safety practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Problem-solving mindset and reliability
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/production environment with varying temperatures

Compensation & Benefits
- $40,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule
Full-time, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Occasional extended hours up to 5:00 PM may be required, with potential involvement in second shift operations as production expands.
