**Position Overview: Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)**
- **Coverage Period:** Immediate start for 3 months, with potential for extension.
- **Practice Setting:** Outpatient clinic. -
**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, standard 8-hour shifts, with the possibility of Saturday coverage as needed.
- **Clinical Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive family medicine services, including routine physical examinations, women's health, and chronic disease management (focusing on hypertension and diabetes).
- Address same-day urgent care needs (e.g., injuries, acute illnesses).
- Preference for candidates capable of working with all age groups, although applications from adult-focused practitioners will be considered.
- Manage patient communications, review lab results, and handle medication refills.
- May involve conducting telehealth or video consultations.
- **On-Call Requirements:** No on-call duties.
- **Patient Volume:** Expected to manage approximately 20-22 patients per day.
- **Team Composition:** Supported by a full complement of healthcare staff, including registered nurses (RNs), medical assistants (MAs), and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs).
- **Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System:** EPIC; candidates must have recent EPIC experience (within the last 1-2 years) to qualify.
- **Credentialing Timeline:** Estimated 45-60 days from application submission.
- **Required Credentials:** Board Certification, BLS (AHA certification), DEA registration.
- **Licensure Requirements:** Candidates must possess an active Oregon nursing license; out-of-state licensure candidates will not be considered.
