We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to completion. MUST HAVE: Minimum 5+ years of prior relevant experience in water distribution and construction of water systems.

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
- Oversee project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize productivity and meet project milestones.
- Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction documents including Civil 3D drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and contract negotiations to secure materials and services efficiently.
- Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance and quality assurance while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software for project documentation, progress tracking, and communication.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure work aligns with design intent.
- Facilitate effective project coordination among all stakeholders while managing time-sensitive deliverables.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management across diverse projects with strong civil engineering background.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
- Deep understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating techniques.
- Primary Role:
Oversees Project Administration and field activities related to water and wastewater facility construction projects. Responsible for ensuring high quality construction projects on time and in accordance with design intent while ensuring minimum impact to water and wastewater operations. Possess the ability to represent MSG with Client and subcontractors.
Key Accountabilities:
· Routine liaison with Subcontractor Project Managers to co-ordinate and plan site activity including verification of individual project phases and completion in accordance with required specifications and standards. Perform field observation of construction activities.
· Liaising with AW staff, vendor and subcontractors to request new quotations/proposals for services as required by the Client. Write documents to obtain competitive quotes in accordance with company and business unit policies.
· Review of payment requests and work-completed including completing appropriate documentation.
· Review and verification of change order requests from vendors.
· Prepare well documented construction progress documents, attend and actively participate in project meetings, provide value engineering input to designs, and evaluate construction shop drawings.
· Observing subcontractor’s work and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Perform and document safety inspections.
· Other duties as assigned.
Proven ability in project scheduling and resource planning to meet aggressive deadlines.

Pay: $81,353.10 - $104,000.00 per year
