Production Manager
Location: Ennis, TX
Compensation: $115,000 - $135,000 + Benefits

What You'll Do
As Production Manager, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
- Create and execute production schedules that maximize throughput while meeting customer demands.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S programs, waste reduction efforts, and process optimization.
- Monitor and improve production metrics including efficiency, downtime, scrap, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production bottlenecks and equipment issues.
- Ensure products consistently meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring issues.
- Manage staffing, training, performance development, and succession planning for production personnel.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, including Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience improving operational performance through data-driven decision making.
- Ability to lead teams, influence change, and drive results in a dynamic production setting.
- Knowledge of production equipment, inventory control systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience utilizing ERP, MRP, BOM, or related manufacturing software systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Pay: $115,854.25 - $135,308.34 per year
