Position Summary
We are seeking caring and dependable Part-Time and Full Time Resident Care Aide's (RCA) for our Day Shift (7a-3p), Evening Shift (3p-11p), and Overnight Shift (11p-7a) to assist residents with daily living activities and provide companionship and support.
The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of those they care for. Experience working with older adults, including memory care residents, in healthcare or senior living settings is preferred. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Please note:
Our shift start and end times are firm and can not be accommodated, reliable transportation is a MUST. Full Time and Part Time employees are required to follow an every other weekend schedule. Per Diem employees are required to work one scheduled weekend a month.
Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers as needed, safely
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans, safety procedures, and community policies
Skills/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- HHA/CNA experience/certification preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or healthcare preferred (training may be provided) Memory Care experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet state requirements
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
