We are seeking an energetic and motivated General Manager to lead our Motel 6 Austin North property. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily hotel operations, driving revenue growth, ensuring exceptional guest service, and fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue through effective pricing, sales initiatives, and market analysis.
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, supervising staff, and maintaining a motivated team.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of guest relations by ensuring excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Supervise night audit processes and ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, employee development, and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse staff members.
- IHG Brand experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of revenue management strategies and budgeting processes.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, front desk operations, and night audit procedures.
