Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our restaurant team and drive store success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage sales performance, inventory management, scheduling and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve goals, maintain operational excellence, and foster a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective management of sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and stock replenishment to ensure optimal product availability.
- Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Supervise shift scheduling, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
- Implement inventory control measures, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate purchasing activities to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, reporting, and data analysis to inform business decisions.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, managerial support, and recognition of team achievements.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the restaurant industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations.
- Strong background in math, budgeting, and financial oversight such as payroll processing and inventory control.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, and operational management tools is essential.
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory roles in grocery or general retail stores are preferred to ensure readiness for this leadership position.
