Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Attendant at Scoops & Slices is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while preparing and serving pizzas, sandwiches, salads, soft-serve ice cream, beverages, and other grab-and-go menu items. This position creates a welcoming environment for resort guests by providing friendly service, accurately processing orders, preparing food according to quality standards, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in providing outstanding hospitality, and is committed to creating memorable experiences for every guest.
Rate of Pay: Full-time, Hourly Position
Starting at $18.00 per hour, plus opportunities to earn tips.
Essential Functions

Welcome every guest with a friendly, positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service throughout each interaction.

Accurately take guest orders, process transactions through the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and handle cash and credit card payments following established procedures.

Prepare pizzas, sandwiches, salads, soft-serve ice cream, beverages, and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.

Package and present food orders accurately and efficiently for dine-in and takeout guests.
-
Operate kitchen equipment including pizza ovens, sandwich stations, soft-serve machines, and other food preparation equipment safely and effectively.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Stock food, beverages, paper products, condiments, and supplies throughout each shift.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment, restocking inventory, and preparing the outlet for service.

Complete daily shift checklists and assigned responsibilities.

Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workstations, kitchen areas, dining areas, and guest service areas.

Communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
-
Promote menu items and specials while creating a positive guest experience.

Maintain a professional appearance and uphold South Seas service standards at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
What are we looking for?
Position Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous food service, restaurant, quick-service, or hospitality experience preferred.

Previous Point-of-Sale (POS) experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

Physical Working Conditions

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Ability to frequently bend, reach, kneel, twist, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and work around hot cooking surfaces.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support resort operations.
Hours Required

Schedule will vary based on business needs.

Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Flexibility to work additional hours during peak resort seasons and special events is required.
