Job Description: Our Houseperson is responsible for assisting the housekeepers and maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas throughout the hotel.
Essential Job Functions:
- Stocking housekeepers carts with supplies
- Removing trash and used linen from the housekeeping carts
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all storage areas
- Restocking all storage areas with supplies
- Thoroughly cleaning all aspects of the public areas
- Reporting any type of problem immediately
- Delivering any special request or guest request items to the guest rooms
- Assisting as a van driver when necessary
- Maintaining a positive attitude at all times and delivering exceptional guest service at every opportunity
Additional Responsibilities:
- Any other duties as assigned by the leadership team
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Familiarity with housekeeping management is a plus
- Valid driver's license for potential van driving duties
