Training Period: 90 Days
Post-Training Pay: $25.00/hour upon successful completion of training and performance review

We are seeking a high-energy, knowledgeable, and professional Live Shopping Host to represent our company during live shows and auctions.
Position Overview
This position is much more than simply showing products on camera.
The ideal candidate must be able to educate customers, entertain viewers, maintain an active chat environment, and create excitement that drives participation and sales throughout an entire live show.
A successful host understands that customers are purchasing both the merchandise and the experience.
Candidates must possess above-average product knowledge and be capable of discussing brands, materials, sizing, product features, functionality, retail value, and customer use cases while maintaining an energetic and engaging presentation style.
Responsibilities
- Host live shopping events on Whatnot and other live-selling platforms.
- Present merchandise accurately and professionally.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits.
- Explain sizing, materials, functionality, and brand information.
- Maintain a high-energy and engaging on-camera presence.
- Interact with customers and answer questions in real time.
- Keep live chat active and engaged throughout shows.
- Create excitement and encourage customer participation.
- Build customer trust through accurate product representation.
- Learn and retain product knowledge across multiple categories.
- Assist in identifying product condition and callouts when necessary.
- Work closely with inventory and fulfillment teams.
- Help create an entertaining and memorable shopping experience.

QualificationsRequired
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking on camera for extended periods.

- Dependable and punctual.
Preferred
- Previous retail sales experience.
- Previous live-streaming or hosting experience.
- Experience with Whatnot, eBay, Amazon, Poshmark, or similar marketplaces.
- Knowledge of fashion brands and footwear.
- Knowledge of cosmetics and beauty products.
- Knowledge of appliances and home goods.
Ideal Candidate

- Keep the live chat active, engaged, and entertained throughout the show.

- Build relationships with repeat customers and create a welcoming environment for new buyers.
- Keep viewers interested even during slower portions of the show.
- Think quickly and adapt to live customer questions and situations.
- Balance entertainment with product education.
A successful host knows how to keep viewers watching, bidding, chatting, and returning for future shows.
The best hosts do not simply sell products—they create an experience that customers want to return to again and again.
Compensation & Advancement
- $20.00/hour during the 90-day training period.
- Comprehensive training on products, brands, show structure, and customer engagement.
- Performance evaluation at the end of the training period.
- $25.00/hour upon successful completion of training.
- Additional growth opportunities available for top performers.
