The Impact You Will Make
The Product Manager sits on the Enterprise Data team and partners with the marketing and operations analytics function. You will be a close, trusted partner to the marketing operations team- earning their confidence, learning their goals, and making it easy for them to turn their asks into clear, buildable data products. Working within the product strategy and vision set by leadership, you bring product thinking to how requirements are shaped, owned, prioritized, and delivered. This role is the bridge between business questions and the data that answers them.
You will work with marketing analytics operations and business users from the COO org to understand their key questions and KPIs, translate them into clear product requirements, and then partner with the enterprise data and marketing analytics teams to deliver data products (treated tables, semantic layer, reports, and dashboards) that generate the insights leaders need. Your value lies in framing the right questions, defining clear requirements, and ensuring that what is delivered truly answers them. You will need to influence and align stakeholders across functions, reconciling differing points of view to reach a unified set of metrics and a single source of truth, and partnering with executive sponsors when alignment is difficult to reach. You will have discretion to adjust priorities as new information emerges, communicating any changes to key stakeholders, and you'll connect individual requests to the bigger picture so that what gets delivered avoids rework and truly drives outcomes. If you enjoy solving business problems, working across teams, and turning data into decisions, this role is for you.
How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life
What You Will Do
E xplore the intent behind every ask from business before shaping requirements- understand why a dashboard, report, or metric is needed, what decision it drives, and what business value and impact it will deliver.
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the enterprise data and marketing analytics teams, making sure requirements are understood and that what is delivered answers the original question, escalating to sponsors when alignment is hard to reach.
Partner with the enterprise data and marketing & operations analytics teams through delivery, providing clarity, answering questions, and reviewing output, without building the data, models, or reports yourself, but having ownership of definitions and help provide clarity of how to address the needs and accelerate the time from need identified to solution delivered.
Contribute insights and analysis to the regular operating cadence, including monthly performance reviews, board and investor materials, and budget, connecting individual work to the bigger picture.
What Success Looks Like
How Impact Will be Measured
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Experience That Matters Most
8+ years in product management, product ownership or a comparable requirements-owning role for data, analytics, or reporting products. A business-analysis or analytics background is welcome, but this is a product role -accountable for outcomes and a prioritized backlog.
A built-in instinct to question requests rather than take orders- you naturally ask why something is being built, what decision it serves, and what business value it creates, and can point to times this reframed, resequenced , or stopped low-value work.
Strong working knowledge of marketing metrics, operational KPIs, and performance measurement, with the ability to shape the right questions and define clear requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, math, economics, engineering, or a related field.
Experience That’s Great to Have
Familiarity with the data stack especially Databricks, data warehouses, and Tableau, plus SQL, dbt , Looker, or Python- enough to collaborate well with the data team and write realistic requirements, not to build.
Understanding of how dashboards, data models, and semantic layer s are built, so you can write clear, realistic requirements.
Knowledge using AI assistants (e.g., Claude) in the product workflow- for discovery, drafting requirements and user stories, summarizing stakeholder input, and first-pass data analysis.
Familiarity with product discovery and prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, opportunity- solution trees, jobs-to-be-done).
Working proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence- managing a backlog, writing and grooming user stories/acceptance criteria in Jira, and documenting requirements, decisions, and definitions in Confluence.
Comfort with Microsoft 365 for collaboration and deliverables-Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Excel, and PowerPoint
