Taconic , a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts, tapes and laminates is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our corporate office in Petersburgh, NY to keep production machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems in operating condition.
Associate’s degree in mechanical maintenance or related, or four years of equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. Must be able to determine causes of operating errors and develop appropriate resolution. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is essential. Knowledge of machines and tools, including power and hand tools is required. Must have a valid driver’s license, good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize based on changing work conditions. Positions are available on 1st and 2nd shift.
