Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
Turning Point Youth Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide clinical services to adolescents and young adults in a residential group home setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping youth overcome behavioral, emotional, family, and social challenges while promoting positive outcomes and successful community integration.
Position Summary
The Licensed Mental Health Professional is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and supporting residents in achieving treatment goals. The clinician will work collaboratively with residential staff, case managers, probation officers, schools, families, and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
- Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Complete progress notes, treatment updates, and discharge summaries
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Collaborate with families, schools, courts, probation officers, and community providers
- Assist residents in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, communication skills, and healthy relationships
- Provide staff consultation regarding resident treatment needs and behavioral concerns
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, ethical, Medicaid, and agency requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation if required
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana license as:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Experience working with adolescents, behavioral health, juvenile justice, foster care, or residential treatment preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavioral interventions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug screening
