Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability at all times
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and infection control to uphold health standards
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Support the management of custodial supplies inventory and proper storage practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Familiarity with custodial management practices is a plus
- Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is advantageous but not mandatory
