Job Description
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technicians install, maintain and repair indoor air quality systems. The HVAC technician will be skilled in cleaning, calibrating , and repairing systems in an industrial setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Complete HVAC preventative maintenance in accordance with established standards and schedule
* Install replacement equipment and parts per manufacturer’s specifications to honor manufacturer’s warranties
* Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair HVAC malfunctions in accordance with EPA established standards
* Follow maintenance schedule to ensure completion of accurate and timely equipment maintenance
* Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
* Conduct general tasks including, but not limited to, safety training and maintaining tools
* Operate company equipment following all safety rules and regulations
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems. Basic mathematical abilities in all units of measure
* Positive attitude and work ethic
* 7 years of verifiable experience
*MUST possess a valid TN CMC-C license
* MUST possess a valid and clean driver’s license
* Be punctual, dependable, and detail oriented
* EPA Certification; Type I, II, Universal (required)
* High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
* Physical demands and abilities:
* Frequently lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 lbs. and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
* Having a good sense of balance, able to carry/climb all types of ladders
* Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon the season
* Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $45.00 an hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-5, and occasional overtime per company needs.
