Gansett Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a small animal practice located in Rumford, RI. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with animals and wants to be part of a small team.
Requirements:
- Veterinary experience Required (Minimum 2 yrs.)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be energetic, outgoing, and personable
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be comfortable working with computers and software such as Microsoft Office products.
- Must be comfortable being around dogs and cats.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm. Our hours are subject to change based on market conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide veterinary care to patients and their owners.
- Clean and prepare patient rooms for treatment.
- Perform treatments on pets.
- Work with the medical team to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist with surgery, dental, and dental x-ray, dental cleaning, and dental pain management.
- Cross training for some reception work is also required
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
