Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep and repair of facility systems and equipment. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting basic building issues, and assisting with preventative maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance including minor electrical repairs, plumbing fixes, drywall repair, and painting
- Conduct basic roof patching and leak assessments
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under supervision
- Assist with HVAC system inspections and basic servicing
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation of repairs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Assist with vendor coordination when needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
- Support emergency repairs as required
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems (outlets, breakers, lighting, minor wiring repairs)
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems (filters, thermostats, troubleshooting common issues)
- Experience with roof patching and general building repairs preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or elevated surfaces
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
