Job Summary:
The Distribution Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by accurately picking, packing, staging, and organizing cannabis products. Reporting to the Lead Distribution Associate, this role ensures that inventory is handled in a compliant, efficient, and organized manner to support the timely preparation of outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and stage cannabis products accurately according to order sheets and standard operating procedures.
- Package and seal cannabis products according to company specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products are properly labeled, sealed, and meet all compliance and quality standards before staging for shipment.
- Maintain organized and compliant storage of products within the distribution center.
- Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Safely move, organize, and store products while maintaining compliance with company policies and cannabis regulations.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or non-compliant packaging to leadership immediately.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and compliant warehouse workspaces.
- Follow health, safety, and security protocols throughout daily operations.
- Support overall warehouse flow and organization by completing assigned tasks quickly and accurately.
Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, packaging, or fulfillment operations (cannabis industry experience preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality control, and compliance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must possess or be eligible for any required state or local cannabis worker permits.
- Previous experience in cannabis distribution, packaging, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with cannabis product types, packaging standards, and labeling requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring physical activity throughout the shift.
