We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on patient assessments and preferences.
- Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment space, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices for optimal results.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, medical terminology, and pain management techniques.
- Experience in patient assessment and understanding of occupational health principles is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding their needs and treatment options.
- Previous experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not required.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new techniques in the field of massage therapy.
