Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel housekeeping and laundry operations.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
- Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are cleaned and presented properly.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all areas meet quality standards before guest check-in.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring equipment is used safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and laundry processes, including dry cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols while performing duties.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items as needed.
