Must be eligible to prescribe in multiple states such as New York, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania etc

Duties
- Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations using telehealth technology.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with state and federal regulations, including DEA guidelines.
- Manage a broad spectrum of medical conditions across specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and acute care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, specialists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Provide patient education on disease management, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health strategies.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and basic wound care when necessary within scope of practice.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance telehealth services and patient safety.
Skills
- Proven experience working with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/Athenahealth/eClinicalWorks) and telehealth platforms.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Expertise in managing complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health.
- Skilled in performing physical examinations remotely and utilizing diagnostic tools like sonography or laboratory specimen collection when applicable.
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines including nursing homes, hospitals (Level I & II trauma centers), outpatient clinics, and community-based settings.
- Experience in specialized areas such as geriatrics, pediatric care—including neonatal ventilator management—and adult acute care environments such as ICU or emergency medicine.
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law and utilization review processes to support diverse patient populations.
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on health coaching and client education in a virtual setting.
- Demonstrated ability to perform procedures like venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, airway management, and tube feeding within scope of practice.

Pay: $109,974.85 - $132,442.83 per year
