Responsibilities
- Build sturdy pallets using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet precise specifications.
- Repair damaged pallets by replacing broken components, reinforcing structures, and restoring functionality.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Operate power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols related to construction site work.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks required for pallet assembly and repair projects.
- Inspect finished pallets for quality control, ensuring they meet industry standards for durability and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines for equipment use and material handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or manufacturing environments with knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, framing, woodworking, metal stud framing, and fixture installation is preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, drywall repair, and restoration industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of power tool safety practices and experience with CNC machinery or assembly processes is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in quality control inspections.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in restoration projects will be highly valued.
