This unique opportunity is ideal for nurses with Observation, PCU, or Telemetry experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and caring for a diverse patient population.

Unit Overview
The Observation Pavilion functions as an extension of the Emergency Department, caring for patients who:
- Are awaiting inpatient bed placement
- Require additional monitoring and evaluation before discharge
- Need short-term observation and treatment
- Present with a variety of medical, cardiac, and telemetry-based diagnoses
This role offers a dynamic environment where nurses utilize both observation and progressive care skill sets while collaborating closely with Emergency Department and inpatient teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in:
- Observation
- PCU/Stepdown
- Telemetry
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical setting
Important Information
- Frequent floating is required
- Nurses should be comfortable floating to like or lower-acuity units based on patient care needs
- Travel assignment only
Compensation Package
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,870
- Base Rate: $31.23/hr
- Overtime Rate: $46.85/hr
- Weekly Non-Taxed Stipend: $1,246
