Overview
The Minot Daily News is currently seeking dependable individuals to fill a part-time position within our mailroom production department. This role is essential to our daily operations, primarily focusing on the operation of inserting machinery to assemble advertisements and circulars into the newspaper. Beyond the inserting process, the successful candidate will be responsible for strapping bundles, stacking papers onto pallets, and accurately labeling newspaper stacks for distribution. It is a physically active environment that requires the ability to stand for the duration of a shift and frequently lift bundles weighing up to 25 pounds.
While previous experience in a warehouse or production setting is beneficial, it is certainly not a requirement as we are fully prepared to train the right person who demonstrates a strong professional commitment. We are looking for a team player who is comfortable taking on other duties as required to ensure our deadlines are met each day. This position offers a consistent part-time schedule, yet there is a genuine path toward full-time employment for an individual who shows initiative and reliability.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
