Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 DOE FTE: Full-Time, Regular, Academic Year

Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, provides an exceptional classroom experience for Elementary School students.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Teaches Kindergarten-5th Grade courses in particular discipline(s)
- Acts as teacher in the grade level who has primarily responsibility for grade communication, including:

Weekly newsletter

Regular contact with parents

Holding and reporting on team meetings

Bringing issues concerning students to the attention of Senior Administration, etc.
- Teaches remotely as needed
· Attends Orientation Week, June Week, Parent-Teacher Conference Days, Back to School Night, In-Service Days, Faculty and Lunch Team meetings, Graduation, Open Houses, sel · Participate in Recess, Lunch, Event Duties as assigned
- Creates and maintains positive partnerships with students and families
- Establishes and cultivates community relations by maintaining open dialogue with all of the school’s constituencies
- Actively participates in the full life of the school, including admission, development, and community events
- Vigorously engages in their own professional development; is a life-long learner who enhances their skills, using state-of-the-art technologies to maintain high standards of performance to efficiently and effectively produce work products
- Is familiar with and complies with all policies and regulations as put forth in the school’s documents
- Since safety and security are everyone’s responsibility, takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, faculty, staff, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelors’ degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in education or a related field required
- Teaching credential in preferred
- At least three years’ experience working with K-1 students required
- Experience working in an independent school preferred
