Job Summary: Server, Part Time, tipped position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Assist with hosting duties when necessary, including managing reservations through OpenTable.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations in the culinary industry.
- Experience with cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques or previous kitchen experience is advantageous.
- Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale system experience preferred.

Pay: $10.70 - $10.71 per hour
