Nurney Landscape & Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscape Project Lead to join our team in Pipersville, PA. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands both hardscape and softscape construction and can confidently lead a crew in the field.
The Project Lead will work closely with the Project Manager to plan and execute landscape projects, coordinate daily field operations, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to plan. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, technically skilled, and comfortable taking ownership of a project and leading a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape crews through daily project operations.
- Plan and execute hardscape and softscape projects according to plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on scheduling, materials, manpower, and project priorities.
- Read landscape plans and perform layout, grading, and installation.
- Safely operate and oversee equipment including skid steers, backhoes, and excavators.
- Monitor job-site quality, productivity, organization, and safety.
- Provide daily project updates and communicate field issues to the Project Manager.
- Train, motivate, and develop crew members while promoting a positive team environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and coworkers.
- Perform snow removal and other seasonal duties during winter months.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Landscape Foreman, Project Lead, or similar field leadership role.
- Strong experience with hardscape and softscape installation.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, grading, and layouts.
- Experience operating skid steers, backhoes, excavators, and other landscape equipment.
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
- Valid driver's license, valid medical card, and clean driving record.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, motivated, punctual, and safety-minded with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
