This opportunity is for a mechanical engineer who can support the testing and development of new parts and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
- Create comprehensive schematics and technical drawings adhering to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precision manufacturing.
- Conduct mechanical analysis using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools to validate design integrity under various operational conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate system design elements, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, and Arduino-based systems.
- Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures or inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions to optimize performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
