Environmental laboratory in Tucson seeks a highly motivated analyst for sample preparation and analysis of routine environmental samples. Candidates must be familiar with basic general chemistry and laboratory practices. Tasks will include laboratory solution preparation, wet chemistry analyses, customer service and receiving of samples.
Applicants must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have a willingness to work independently as well as part of the group. The chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate great time management, awareness, common sense, and attention to detail. We are a close-knit group, and the ability to get along with others is very important.
This is a full-time position for Monday through Friday, though some weekend or evening hours may be required.
Requirements: A BS in chemistry is desirable but will consider other science degrees and/or chemistry laboratory work experience.
Compensation: Hourly wage will depend on experience. Paid Holidays and Sick Time are provided. Package includes health, dental, vision insurance and life insurance policy.
