What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and staff entry procedures in accordance with location guidelines and assigned post instructions.

Support a professional environment by communicating with hospital personnel and/or first responders when needed and documenting security-related observations, incidents, and actions taken.
Minimum Requirements:
-
A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.

Required hospital vaccines must be obtained and maintained.

This position may require working in hospital morgue areas.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a minimum of two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.

Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
