When we built a brand new body shop here at Junction we knew we would need to add technicians - and that time has come. We are a growing collision repair facility looking for a dependable, motivated technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in vehicle accessory installation, body component removal and installation, paint preparation, buffing, and light body repairs. Great for someone looking to get their foot in the door and level up their experience for a long career.
Responsibilities:
- Remove and install body panels, bumpers, moldings, trim, lights, and related components
- Install vehicle accessories and aftermarket equipment
- Perform minor body repairs, dent repairs, and panel adjustments
- Sand, mask, prime, and prepare vehicles for paint
- Buff and polish completed paint work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow repair procedures and safety standards
- Assist body and paint technicians as needed
Qualifications:
- Auto body or collision repair experience preferred
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Experience with vehicle disassembly and reassembly
- Knowledge of paint prep, sanding, masking, and buffing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- I-CAR certifications are a plus but not required
