About the Role
As a Production Cook, you'll prepare and cook the food that powers every bowl we serve. From preparing fresh ingredients and cooking chicken and rice to maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, you'll play a critical role in delivering the quality our guests expect every day.
While this role primarily focuses on kitchen production, we believe in developing well-rounded team members. As you grow, you'll have opportunities to learn additional stations and expand your skills throughout the restaurant.
What You'll Do
Food Preparation & Production
- Prepare ingredients according to company recipes and standards.
- Cook chicken, rice, vegetables, sauces, and other menu items.
- Complete prep lists efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Portion food consistently and accurately.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and food rotation.
Kitchen Operations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Practice our "Clean As You Go" and "Wash As You Go" philosophy.
- Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked.
- Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment as part of supporting the entire team.
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities.
Teamwork
- Support teammates during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with front and back of house.
- Learn new stations and continue developing your skills.

Kitchen experience is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train hardworking people with great attitudes.

Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
- Work around hot equipment and in refrigerated areas as needed.
