Position Summary:
Assembles and tests products to conform with a Blueprint/Work instruction. Most assembly is using mechanical fasteners with the occasional electrical connection. Parts consist of various size pumps and various divider valves. The main focus of this project is completing visual quality checks, disassembling and reassembling pumps.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Operate drill press, air and hydraulic hand tools to assist in assembly operation.
- Follow shop orders and work instructions to meet quality standards.
Position Requirements:
- Basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills.
- Must be able to read and follow blueprints, schematics and work/test instructions
- Experience using hand & power tools.
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push/pull
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and turn
- Extensive periods of standing at the workstation
- Requires frequent elbow movements and simple grasping with both hands and occasional firm grasping and fine manipulation with both hands

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
