Foundation Solutions Consultant / Estimator
Location: Rockwall County / North Texas
Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + Uncapped Commission
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Office, Remote & Field-Based
Construction Knowledge. Consultative Sales. Unlimited Earning Potential.
TrendHR is partnering with an established Rockwall-based foundation and soil solutions company to add an experienced Foundation Solutions Consultant / Estimator to its growing sales team.
This isn't a traditional sales position built around cold calling and constant prospecting.
The company has established multiple marketing, referral, and lead-generation channels that consistently produce prospective customers looking for help with foundation, drainage, soil, and related property issues.
Your job is to take those opportunities, meet with customers at their homes or properties, understand the problem, evaluate the project, develop an appropriate estimate, explain the recommended solution, and earn their business.
This is a highly consultative sales and estimating role for someone who understands construction and enjoys working directly with customers.
The position offers a $50,000-$60,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, giving a strong performer significant earning potential.
What You'll Do
-
Respond to company-provided leads and scheduled customer opportunities
-
Meet with homeowners, businesses, property owners, contractors, and other prospective customers
-
Travel to customer properties throughout Rockwall County, DFW, and surrounding North Texas markets
-
Evaluate customer concerns and existing site conditions
-
Identify potential foundation, drainage, soil, concrete, or structural-related issues
-
Take measurements, document site conditions, and gather the information necessary to develop an accurate scope of work
-
Review available engineering reports, plans, measurements, and project documentation
-
Develop detailed estimates and proposals based on the recommended scope
-
Explain proposed solutions, project expectations, pricing, warranties, and available options to customers
-
Educate customers so they can make informed decisions about their property
-
Follow up consistently with prospective customers and move qualified opportunities through the sales process
-
Build trust and long-term relationships rather than relying on high-pressure sales tactics
-
Coordinate with operations, production, and field teams as sold projects move into execution
-
Maintain accurate records of leads, estimates, follow-up activity, and sales
-
Continue developing technical knowledge of foundation and soil-related construction solutions
Solutions You'll Work With
The company provides a broad range of residential and commercial foundation and property solutions, including:
-
Foundation repair and home leveling
-
Slab and pier-and-beam foundation solutions
-

-

You don't necessarily need to walk in as an expert in every one of these services. You do need to be comfortable around construction, technically curious, able to understand how projects are put together, and confident learning how to evaluate and estimate solutions.
What We're Looking For
-
Previous experience in construction sales, estimating, home improvement, foundation repair, roofing, restoration, concrete, remodeling, structural services, or a related field
-
Strong ability to evaluate a project and develop or communicate an accurate estimate
-
Comfortable working directly with homeowners and other property owners
-
Ability to explain technical or construction-related information in straightforward terms
-
Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
-
Comfortable discussing project costs and asking for the business
-
Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
-
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple leads and customer opportunities
-
Comfortable working independently in the field
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with office and field operations teams
-
Basic technology and computer skills for estimates, customer communication, and lead management
-
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the local market
The Right Sales Approach
We're looking for someone who can sell, but how you sell matters.
Foundation and structural concerns can be stressful for property owners. Customers need someone who can evaluate the situation, explain what they're seeing, answer questions, and provide straightforward recommendations.
The ideal person is comfortable telling a customer what they need without overselling what they don't.
You'll succeed by becoming a trusted advisor, not by creating unnecessary pressure.
