About the Role:
A boutique architectural firm in Boca Raton is seeking a self-motivated, responsible, and reliable Entry-Level/Intern Architect to join our team. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to be involved in all aspects of architectural practice. We welcome architecture students and are fully prepared to provide high-quality, practical training.We are looking for someone with strong design and communication skills who is eager to learn, take on responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and consultants.Key Responsibilities
- Convert written project descriptions and conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings.
- Create 2-D construction documents and 3-D presentation drawings.
- Assist in various phases of design, documentation, and project coordination.
Position Requirements
- Local Candidates Only: Must live within a 30-mile radius of Boca Raton, FL. This is an in-office position; remote/work-from-home freelance draftspersons will not be considered.
- Work Type: Open to both Full-Time and Part-Time candidates, including current architecture students.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to translate written scope and concepts into accurate graphic drawings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
Technical Qualifications (Must-Have Skills)
- 2-D AutoCAD: Highly proficient in AutoCAD (version 2013 or higher). Must provide 2-D drafting samples.
- 3-D Modeling: Proficient in SketchUp, 3-D AutoCAD, or a comparable program capable of creating presentation-ready drawings. Must provide 3-D work samples.
- Design Software: Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Office Software: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
