Pay Range:
From $18 - $20/hour, based on experience, + tip
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Hourly Assistant Manager is responsible for attaining the sales and profit targets established for Rainbow Cone.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success
- Embrace our balanced corporate structure and strong, family-culture
- Enforce policies, procedures, and controls
- Achieve sales targets
- Assist in the selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
- Attend monthly meetings with supervisors to recognize opportunities
- Adhere to established training programs
- Ensure team complies with health regulation and certifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail (restaurants preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Drive-thru experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to direct and coach team members
- Knowledge of restaurant operations
- Multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Manager sanitation license
- Understanding of ice cream cycles and storage, preferred
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. comfortably
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more
- Availability to work different shifts, including weekends
