Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Houston County Jail | Georgia
Schedule: Full-Time Nights | 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Rotation: Rotating Schedule Including Every Other Weekend
Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Houston County Jail. In this role, you'll provide hands-on patient care, administer medications and treatments, perform nursing assessments, respond to urgent medical needs, and work alongside an experienced healthcare team dedicated to delivering quality care in a safe, structured environment.

Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments

Administer prescribed medications and treatments

Monitor patient conditions and report changes

Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations

Assist with chronic care management

Maintain accurate electronic medical records

Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

Current, unrestricted Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)

Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
