·Overall Responsibility: Maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation standards while performing quality checks to ensure products are manufactured safely and meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Complete work as assigned and outlined in the SOPs for any of the areas within our Production department.
- Follow GMPs, Food Safety, Quality, and Occupational Safety policies at all times.
- Perform sanitation tasks according to cleaning schedules, SSOPs, and Master Cleaning Schedules (MCS). Perform Master Cleaning Schedule duties as needed
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on ingredients, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Record sanitation and quality data accurately and maintain required documentation.
- Verify sanitation chemical concentrations and safely handle, store, and control cleaning chemicals.
- Monitor production processes for compliance with quality standards and GMP requirements.
- Identify and communicate food safety, quality, equipment, or process concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain clean work areas, testing equipment, and sanitation storage areas.
- Assist with production duties as needed and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist other employees as needed to complete tasks.
