Work collaboratively with an experienced, skilled, compassionate Finance Manager in a mission and team-driven organization. Our site provides primary care, behavioral health services and a recovery program for patients from our immediate and surrounding communities, and has been a long-standing non-profit and engaged healthcare Clinic in Traverse City as one location for over 50 years!

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs duties and services consistent with education, training and certifications.
2. Clerical support:
· Sorting mail
· Maintaining detailed financial records
· Maintaining detailed digital/paper file records
· Assisting with audits and reporting
· Data entry
· Ability to use all office equipment
3. Accounts Payable/Receivable/Payroll/ General Ledger duties:
· Process vendor invoices with required support and detail
· Issuing payments for invoices with required support and detail
· Recording/preparing daily payment logs, deposits and journal entries
· Assisting with Bank and General Ledger reconciliations
· Processing vendor statements
4. Involved with and participates in understanding of healthcare billing, reimbursement and collection procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. College degree preferred, but not required.
2. Strong knowledge of basic accounting functions.
3. Proficiency working with various software, including Excel/Microsoft Office programs, and accounting software.
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing.
5. Demonstrated professionalism with team members and with the public. Excellent interpersonal skills.
6. Demonstrated excellent and strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
7. Ability to relate well with diverse populations of varying socio-economic backgrounds.
