As a Retail Team Member, you’ll represent AT&T services and connect with customers to understand their needs, answer questions, and introduce relevant service options. You’ll develop practical skills in communication, customer engagement, sales, and relationship building while contributing to a team focused on delivering a professional customer experience.
Your Core Responsibilities as a Retail Team Member
- Welcome customers with a friendly, professional approach and create a positive first impression.
- Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their needs, preferences, and service interests.
- Introduce AT&T products and services while clearly explaining available options and benefits.
- Present plans, features, promotions, and service information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Answer customer questions accurately and provide helpful information throughout the interaction.
- Assist customers with enrollment, account-related questions, and other service processes.
- Collaborate with teammates to support daily objectives and maintain a positive, productive environment.
What We’re Looking For in a Retail Team Member
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers from different backgrounds.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new products, services, and processes.
- Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a related field is helpful but not required.
