We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur throughout the day.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in the daycare.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Background in early childhood education or related fields such as childhood development or caregiving.
- Experience working with children in various settings (e.g., daycare, babysitting, nannying).
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure the safety of all children in care.
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude combined with patience and creativity to engage young learners effectively.
