Stewart Courier Services is hiring reliable and motivated independent contractor delivery drivers for daily package delivery routes. Drivers will pick up packages in Tukwila, Washington, at 6:00 AM and use their own vehicle to complete an assigned delivery route.
This opportunity is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working independently, communicate well, and can complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
Compensation
- $1.45 per successfully delivered package
- Approximately 100–200 packages per day
- More packages may become available based on experience, reliability, route performance, and vehicle capacity
- Estimated earnings for five completed delivery days:
- 100 packages per day: approximately $725 per week
- 150 packages per day: approximately $1,087.50 per week
- 200 packages per day: approximately $1,450 per week
- Actual earnings depend on the number of packages successfully delivered
- Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, tolls, and taxes
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the Tukwila pickup location by 6:00 AM
- Check in and receive the assigned route
- Scan and organize packages accurately
- Load packages safely into your vehicle
- Deliver packages to the correct addresses
- Follow customer instructions and delivery procedures
- Submit all required delivery photos and confirmations
- Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the route
- Report delivery issues, delays, or undeliverable packages immediately
- Drive safely and represent Stewart Courier Services professionally
- Return or properly process any undelivered packages as instructed
Requirements
- Reliable sedan, SUV, minivan, or cargo van
- Valid driver’s license
- Current auto insurance
- Current vehicle registration
- Smartphone capable of running the delivery application
- Availability for a 6:00 AM pickup in Tukwila
- Ability to lift, carry, and deliver packages
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Consistent communication with dispatch
- Delivery experience is preferred but not required
- Must be willing to complete any required onboarding, background check, or driving-record review
Schedule
- Morning pickup at 6:00 AM
- Routes may be available seven days per week
- Applicants with availability of at least five days per week are preferred
- Route duration varies depending on package volume, delivery area, traffic, and driver experience
Independent Contractor Notice
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position. Contractors provide their own vehicle, fuel, maintenance, insurance, smartphone, and other operating expenses. No taxes will be withheld from contractor payments.
Dependable drivers who maintain strong attendance, communication, and delivery performance may be considered for additional package volume and ongoing route opportunities.
Pay: $145.00 - $290.00 per day
