EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Within this role, you will be leading districtwide information technology (IT) efforts and ensuring staff have the tools and support they need to carry out their work. This position guides planning, coordination, and problem solving across a variety of IT functions. As an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1, you will perform the following duties:

IT Coordination: Serve as the main link between district offices and technology teams to guide and support daily IT operations

Staff Leadership: Oversee IT staff performance, schedules, and development to maintain strong service across all areas

System Oversight: Manage hardware, software, and network activities to keep district systems secure and functioning

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, automate tasks, and strengthen technology use throughout the district

Technical Support: Respond to major incidents and troubleshoot system issues to maintain continuity of operations

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the probationary period. You will be required to report in-office 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Dunmore. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
