Tiny City Academy is looking to hire an experienced lead teacher for our Toddler classroom.
JOB SUMMARY
The teacher will be responsible for supporting the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work alongside 2-3 teachers in a collaborative, supportive method.
- Ensure that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom are appropriately maintained.
- Complete all academy and classroom paperwork, for example: digital updates, student incident reports, attendance reports.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings, as requested.
- Assist and supervise children during all activities. Counsel children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise.
- Implement classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
- Develop, plan, and prepare instructional aids / materials for classroom activities.
- Assist children with mealtimes and clean-up.
- Maintain physical arrangement of the classroom
- Direct activities of other staff in the classroom to ensure that the classroom functions in an orderly manner.
- Communicate appropriate information to parents; maintain developmental profiles for children.
- Schedule and conduct parent and teacher conferences throughout the year.
- Maintain family information board and other classroom bulletin boards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
