Micro Tech is seeking a Stockroom Lead for our client’s manufacturer in Stoughton, MA. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM. Candidates with receiving, inspecting, storing, tracking and inventory management experience, please apply!
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, descriptions and condition against purchase orders and packing documentation
- Report shortages, damages and discrepancies
- Move and store materials using forklifts and hand trucks
- Label and identify materials with applicable part numbers, job numbers and inventory information
- Maintain inventory records, update shortage reports and perform routine cycle counts
- Coordinate the timely release and delivery of materials to production and other departments
- Communicate material shortages, urgent deliveries and inventory concerns to appropriate personnel
- Assist with material return processes and provide feedback regarding inventory or bill of material discrepancies
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient stockroom and storage areas
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing and/or stockroom environment
- Experience in material handling, receiving, inventory control or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment
- Basic computer and inventory tracking experience
