The Karr Group — Killington’s largest hospitality management company — is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join the team at Charity’s 1887 Saloon for the busy Summer 2026 season.
This opportunity is specifically for candidates currently in the United States who are seeking an extension or transfer of a valid H-2B visa.
Known for its lively atmosphere, high-volume kitchen, and quality food, Charity’s 1887 Saloon is a fast-paced restaurant where teamwork, consistency, and strong cooking skills are essential to delivering a great guest experience.
As a Line Cook, you’ll play an important role in the kitchen by preparing dishes with precision, supporting your team during busy services, and helping maintain the standards that keep guests coming back. Position Details:
- Seasonal H-2B position
- Employment dates: July 1, 2026 through October 16, 2026
- In-country H-2B extension/transfer candidates only
- Employee housing available
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Manage your station and execute orders accurately during high-volume service
- Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and service-ready
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year (12 months) of experience in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen
- Strong knife skills and understanding of food preparation techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
