Deckhands needed for the Steamboat Natchez sightseeing vessel, located at 400 Toulouse Street directly behind the Jax Brewery. $15.00-$16.00/hour based on experience (experience helpful but not necessary). Reliable transportation is necessary.
Some, but not all, responsibilities include general cleaning of the vessel (removing trash, sweeping and mopping decks, etc). All deck crew may be assigned the duty of keeping watch from the pilothouse, filling out the radio logbook and whatever else the mate or captain requires. During cruises deck crew will make rounds on the vessel, checking for cleanliness, and ensuring the safety of the passengers.
