As a Project Manager - Forensic Engineer/Architect, you will take ownership of forensic investigation, assessment, and repair projects from inception through to completion. The position combines technical expertise, project leadership, client management, and mentoring responsibilities. You will lead investigations into structural damage and deterioration, oversee condition assessments, develop repair solutions, manage project finances, and work closely with clients while supporting the growth and development of junior team members. The role offers a blend of independent responsibility and collaborative project delivery, with exposure to a diverse range of structures and building systems.

Manage forensic investigation, assessment, and rehabilitation projects from initial evaluation through to final delivery.

Conduct and oversee investigations into structural damage, deterioration, failures, and building performance issues.

Prepare technical reports, repair recommendations, and construction documentation.

Develop repair and rehabilitation design solutions for existing structures and facilities.

Manage multiple projects and client assignments concurrently.

Coordinate directly with clients and maintain strong professional relationships.

Support business development activities, including proposals, fee justifications, and contracts.

Oversee project billing and financial performance.

Provide technical reviews and QA/QC of reports, drawings, and project documentation.

Mentor, delegate to, and support junior engineering and architectural staff.

Participate in expert witness assignments and technical evaluations where required.

Travel locally and occasionally regionally to project sites and client locations.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect, NCARB registration, or equivalent professional certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering, architectural, forensic, or building investigation experience.

Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.

Background in forensic investigations, structural assessments, building envelope evaluations, or repair and rehabilitation design.

Knowledge of commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure, or municipal projects.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is advantageous.

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
