Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes their orders, and ensures they have an exceptional dining experience. You will also manage cash register operations, process transactions accurately, and support food preparation and safety standards. This position offers a dynamic environment where your enthusiasm and customer service skills will shine, helping to create memorable moments for every guest.
Time: 9hrs/ days , 5days / week
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while handling cash register operations with precision
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining areas, counters, and kitchen stations in compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food service operations
- Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene standards and proper food safety procedures
- Support retail sales transactions if applicable, including processing orders for takeout or delivery
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service during busy periods while managing multiple customer orders seamlessly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, sanitation, and food safety management practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and supporting food preparation activities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Food industry experience or café experience is advantageous but not required
